I'm changing it up (as of March 2026), so now, anyone who earns those points will FOR SURE get a prize! So earn points, keep track, then submit your tally to me at the end of each month at contactauthor@marymecham.com  and tell me which prize you wanted to earn.

You can earn a point for each post you do in any group. You are welcome to use any images in our group GOOGLE DRIVE or make your own, or share links to my free audiobooks (that's always popular!) 

Ideas of what to post:

• A recent read of mine you enjoyed
• A book review
• Links to the free audiobooks on my YouTube Channel
• Share about any sales/ promos you know I have going on

Nope! As long as you submit the form/ make the request, it counts! You don't make that decision, and this is set up to reward effort. 💖

And remember, any social media share is ONE point, and any request for any title/ format is TWO points.

YES! 

I worked very hard to make sure my books are available to libraries, so PLEASE request ebooks as well as paperbacks, hardbacks, and audiobooks!

Right now I'm saying yes, but I may change that based on how it is received internationally.

Actually not at all! Most libraries offer online submission forms, and you can request ALL my books as ebooks and paperbacks for two points for each request.

OR if you are doing the social media, make one post and put it up in 10 different reader groups. Boom, 10 points.

You bet! If I was personally going to participate, I'd probably first look at my local library's website and find the request form. Then I'd request:

• Rapunzel's Gambit on audio
• Rapunzel's Gambit in paperback
• Rapunzel's Gambit as an ebook
• Rapunzel's Gambit as a hardback

That right there is 8 points already, then I'd keep going with the rest of the books, requesting each book in every format available. 

• When requesting, I'd say I love these books and want others to enjoy them and that the author does a lot of disability inclusion with her books (libraries love hearing that sort of thing)

Once I did all those, I'd probably ask my mom/ sister for her library card info so I could submit requests at her library too cuz I'm an overachiever like that.

I do have a limited supply, but I tried to keep 3+ of each book on hand for prizes for this summer for paperbacks and (yes) hardbacks as well. I'll try to give people the option to pick, but just in case I run out, have a backup in mind.

Yep! This is how much I love my street team, yall. I do NOT offer signed hardbacks...like, ever. It's a lot more work to order and ship these compared to paperbacks, so I haven't even offered it in my pop-up shops. Even with my Kickstarter, they get tip-in pages. BUT, I'm willing to do it for yall.

Your best bet is to just to go onto their website and hunt around for the link to request a new title. 

If you call instead of doing an online form, you just say that you really like Mary Mecham's books, and could they please consider please stocking a couple on their shelves.

1. It gets my books into more libraries! Many hands make light work, so a bunch of people sending in a couple request forms is WAAAAY easier than me 

2. You have more credibility than I do! Bookstores and libraries won't pay attention if an author calls up and says "Hey will you stock my book?" but if readers are requesting it, they listen 

3. Not only does this help me get sales from the organizations stocking my books, but it helps me reach new readers who find me through the library! So this is helping me a TON

4. Also, I know that books are expensive and there are a bunch of people who would love to have books but don't have extra money. So I think it is totally reasonable to trade giveaway entries for sending some forms! I want to give books to people like you, who love my books but can't always afford them

5. Plus, yall are just my favorites!

Yep! I have a few extra dragon necklaces, sword keychains, and fairy tale charm bracelets. I can swap that out if you win something you don't want/ already have.

NEW RULE: Yes, if you put in the work, you will for sure get a prize!

PREVIOUS RULE: As much as I wish I had the funds to give free books to everyone, I will be doing the raffle each time. There will still be 16 prizes handed out each month (5 swag packs, 4 audiobooks, 3 ebooks, 2 paperbacks, 1 hardback, and 1 "anything" prize)

So, not for sure, BUT the odds are in your favor!

Coming up in 2026:

• Laurel and Baron will get republished as ebook and paperback
• Bluebeard's Bride will release on March 31st as ebook, paperback, and (hopefully) hardback and audiobook
• All released Legends of Neverland books are coming to audio
• Poisoned will be coming to audiobook
• I'm hoping to get generic hardbacks available for Legends of Neverland.
